I'm Failing at AniBlogging!! (but not for long)

So I've gotten so busy that I haven't found much time to watch anime.

It wasn't too long ago that I was a college student trying to balance classes, homework, part-time jobs, and a social life. It seemed like everyday I had a packed schedule with very little wiggle room, and when I was able to be flexible with my schedule, it meant I could squeeze some other event or task in that place. But no matter how busy I was, I could almost always find time to catch up with anime.

Of course I didn't have time to watch everything and I still had a pretty long "Plan To Watch List", but I was at least up to date on the hottest shows of the season and could watch at least an episode of something everyday. And since I was paying for a subscription to Crunchyroll, I was encouraged to watch anime, or else my money was going to waste.

Now that I'm out of school with a full-time job, I don't have much time to watch anime, and when I do find some free time, I usually want to spend it resting or spending time with friends and family. On the one hand, it's great to have a job and make money that I can spend on fast food, and I don't regret enjoying my loved ones, but I do miss watching anime.

We're just a couple weeks into this Fall anime season and I barely know what's even out right now. I'm still in the middle of some shows from the Summer season. And on top of all that, because I haven't really been watching much anime, I don't really haven't been able to create content for this blog. What used to be a blog with content every week, I've only published six posts since the end of May.

And if this is becoming a little too much of a "Woe is me" kinda post, don't worry. There is more I want to do besides whine and complain. I also wanna applaud and give my respect to the other AniBloggers and content creators with full-time jobs that are able to find time to watch anime and create content on a regular basis. I'm still trying to figure out how to balance everything but I am in awe of my peers in this community.

With that being said, I'm going to try and get out of this blogging rut that I've found myself in for the past few months. I'm going to put more effort into writing something every week. So that may mean my next few blog posts are't going to be of the highest quality or may be on anime series that are far from relevant.  But I gotta get back into the habit of writing and I'm hoping that after writing a few "meh" blog posts, I'll slowly get back to writing posts that I can be proud of on a regular basis.

I don't know what my future as an AniBlogger is going to be, but I do know that I'm not going to give up on being the Anointed Geek so easily. Expect a new "Anime Recommendation" tomorrow and every weekend that follows. I promise that it'll be interesting, to say the least.
